Down by the River

July 22, 2013 § Leave a comment

After what feels like eons, I finally have a new post! My apologies for yet another hiatus.

This shoot takes us back to one of my favorite places in Cebu, the Lava family’s river farm.  For those who remember, the farm was my locale for the “Dalagang Bukid” shoot. Our model for this post is a very lovely and good friend of mine. She was candidate #48 in this year’s Binibining Pilipinas and is currently candidate #6 in Mutya ng Pilipinas 2013. She’s none other than the beautiful Angeli Gomez.

We shot this session around the early weeks of summer, when it was blazing hot. We did hope to really take advantage of the river but sadly, due to the scorching weather, the water level’s weren’t as high as hoped. But not to worry! We made use of the rest of the beautiful farm. I swear, it gets even more beautiful every time I visit. The team and I were able to relax for a while too; we had a wonderful lunch, got to swim in the amazing pool, and..I got chased by a duck. Hahaha.  Well, I’ll stop chatting. Hope y’all enjoy the photos!

P.S.-Please do support Angeli as she represents Cebu in Mutya ng Pilipinas 2013!
